Our HOPE AACR Screening
Last weekend, Ronon and I participated in a screening to potentially join a group that deploys volunteer canine/human teams to critical incidents. It didn't go as expected.

Sleep Out was cold and wet. Bricks are REALLY HARD TO SLEEP ON. Ronon impressed me with his adaptability. I have a whole new appreciation for how AWFUL life on the streets must be.
Ronon passed his certification exam to join Comfort Caring Canines last night. He's a therapy dog now and I couldn't be more proud.
Ronon and I had very different perceptions of an interaction we had on a walk a few days ago.
Training Ronon has been a challenging and different experience. I'm learning to be a better communicator and to pay better attention to what he is trying to tell me.
Ronon and just I moved to a new apartment. His new self-confidence and resiliency show in how well he is handling our second move together.
The only requirements for a dog to run Fast CAT are (1) be at least a year old, and (2) not be lame. It's fun, and it's easy to get started.
Ronon and I are walking to raise funds for the Support Center for Child Advocates and their work on behalf of young people who have experienced abuse and neglect in Philadelphia.
Ronon and I are taking our first road trip in June. I hope this will the first of many for us.
